The Highways Agency manage England’s strategic road network, employing a geographically distributed workforce of over 3,000 Traffic Officers to assist police and to keep roads moving.

Managing Conflict is a series of audio and visual training films to help traffic officers and phone operators deal with difficult situations. We scripted, storyboarded and produced a series of dramatic re-creations so that officers could see just how their actions can have a direct influence on situations, and are given tips and advice on how to avoid conflict with members of the public.
